Range Rider-James Turrell-1

For almost 50 years, James Turrell's (American, born 1943) work has consisted of gathering light and transforming it into a distinct, encapsulating mystical experience. The present artworks, in the form of exquisitely shaped perfume bottles, have been created as a limited edition of only 100 pieces entirely handmade from highly skilled artisans. Their most distinctive features, the pure geometric shape and simple lines, are heightened by the choice of polished colored crystal. The bottle comes in an exotic wooden box, beautifully matching the crystal silhouette, and featuring a metal plate with the names of the fragrance. Range Rider captures and emanates the robust notes of Turrell’s land, which include the scents of animals, leather chaps scratched by sage, pepper, amber, and citrus. This aroma is a testament to the Western ranching culture that is filled with sunshine. The fragrance can be described as an "olfactory architecture" that tells the story of the land through its distinct blend of fragrances.
